Your Heart Is in Your Hands
Spend the day learning how we can be your heart health partner
As a woman, do you focus your attention on your career, family and home, and push your health to the side? If you do, Heart Help for Women can help you take charge of your heart health, because when it comes to being healthy, your heart is in your hands. At Heart Help for Women’s free open house and health fair, you can tour our new heart care facility and meet a team dedicated to partnering with you.
When: Sat., May 17 from 10 a.m.—2 p.m.
Where: Lehigh Valley Heart Specialists’ third-floor office in The Center for Advanced Health Care, 1250 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, Pa.

The open house and health fair will feature educational talks from cardiologist Joan Homan, M.D., an expert in women’s heart care, Anne Marie Crown, coordinator of special cardiac programs, and a team of health care providers. You’ll learn how to eat healthy, strengthen your heart with exercise, manage your stress and identify risk factors for heart disease.
This event also will feature:
- A heart-healthy cooking demonstration and food tasting
- Blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index (BMI) and waist measurement screenings
- Special exhibits from the Healthy You Fitness Center, First Strides® Beginner Running and Walking Workshop for Women, WomenHeart Support Group and the American Heart Association
- A free gift for each participant
